Google Pixel 7 5G 128GB 8GB RAM Lemongrass 1Sim + eSim

Features

The Google Pixel 7 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of recent times, continuing the legacy of Google’s Pixel series with its focus on pure Android experience, top-notch camera capabilities, and seamless integration with Google’s ecosystem. The Pixel 7 5G 128GB model with 8GB RAM, particularly in the Lemongrass color, is a standout choice for those looking for a unique and powerful device. This will explore the key features, performance, design, and why the Google Pixel 7 in this configuration is a great option for users.

Design and Build Quality

One of the first things you’ll notice about the Google Pixel 7 in Lemongrass is its distinctive design. The Lemongrass color gives the phone a fresh, vibrant look that stands out in a sea of more conventional colors like black and white. The color is both subtle and eye-catching, making it appealing to users who want their device to be both stylish and different. The Pixel 7 features a sleek, modern design with a sturdy aluminum frame and a Gorilla Glass Victus front and back, providing both durability and a premium feel. The camera bar, a signature design element from the previous Pixel 6, has been refined and now looks more integrated with the device’s overall design. The phone feels solid in hand, and the matte finish on the back reduces fingerprints, maintaining a clean look even with regular use. The device is IP68-rated, meaning it is water and dust-resistant, which is an essential feature for users who lead active lifestyles or live in environments where their phone might be exposed to the elements.

Display

The Google Pixel 7 comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display that offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display is sharp, and vibrant, and supports HDR10+, ensuring that videos, games, and images look fantastic. The OLED panel provides deep blacks and rich colors, making the viewing experience immersive. The display also features a 90Hz refresh rate, which is lower than some competitors with 120Hz displays but still offers smooth scrolling and responsiveness, particularly when navigating through the Android interface or gaming. The slightly curved edges of the display enhance the modern look of the device without compromising usability.

Performance

Under the hood, the Pixel 7 is powered by Google’s own Tensor G2 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The Tensor G2 is an evolution of the first-generation Tensor chip, designed specifically for the Pixel series, optimizing AI and machine learning tasks. This makes the Pixel 7 incredibly fast and responsive, handling multitasking, gaming, and intensive applications with ease. The 128GB of internal storage provides ample space for apps, photos, videos, and files. However, it’s important to note that the Pixel 7 does not support expandable storage, so users who require more space may need to consider cloud storage solutions or opt for a higher storage variant. The combination of the Tensor G2 and 8GB RAM ensures that the Pixel 7 can handle anything you throw at it, whether it’s running multiple apps simultaneously or editing photos and videos on the go. The device is also 5G-ready, offering faster internet speeds and better connectivity in areas where 5G networks are available.

Camera System

The camera system on the Google Pixel 7 is one of its standout features. Google has consistently led the smartphone industry in computational photography, and the Pixel 7 continues this tradition. The device features a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The 50MP main sensor captures stunning photos with incredible detail, accurate colors, and excellent dynamic range. Night Sight, Google’s night mode feature, has been further improved, allowing for even better low-light photography. The ultra-wide lens is perfect for capturing landscapes or fitting more into the frame, and it maintains high image quality across the board. On the front, the Pixel 7 sports a 10.8MP selfie camera that supports wide-angle shots, making it great for group selfies. The front camera also benefits from Google’s computational photography, offering features like Portrait mode, which blurs the background for a professional-looking effect. One of the most impressive aspects of the Pixel 7’s camera system is its video capabilities. The phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps, and Google’s software magic ensures that videos are stable and smooth, even when shooting handheld.

Software and Features

The Google Pixel 7 runs on Android 13, offering a clean, bloatware-free experience that is synonymous with the Pixel line. Users get the purest form of Android, with regular updates directly from Google, ensuring that the device is always up-to-date with the latest features and security patches. Android 13 on the Pixel 7 comes with several new features, including enhanced privacy controls, improved notifications, and a more customizable interface. Google’s Material You design language allows for deep customization, letting users tailor the look and feel of their device to match their preferences. The Pixel 7 also comes with Google’s latest AI-driven features, such as real-time language translation, live transcription, and enhanced voice commands, making it a powerful tool for productivity and communication.

Battery Life and Charging

The Pixel 7 is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery, which provides all-day battery life under normal usage conditions. The Tensor G2 chip is optimized for power efficiency, ensuring that the phone doesn’t drain quickly even when performing demanding tasks. The device supports 30W fast charging, which can charge the phone to 50% in just about 30 minutes. It also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, allowing users to charge other devices like wireless earbuds on the go.

Connectivity and Dual SIM Functionality

The Google Pixel 7 supports both a physical SIM card and an eSIM, offering flexibility for users who need to manage multiple numbers or travel frequently. This dual SIM functionality is particularly useful in regions where users often have separate personal and work numbers or require a local SIM while traveling. In terms of connectivity, the Pixel 7 offers 5G support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC, ensuring that users have access to the latest and fastest connectivity options.
